Fenerbahce striker Michael Frey injured, out for a month

The Swiss striker picked up an injury during Fenerbahce’s Turkish Cup clash with Umraniyespor on Thursday evening.

Fenerbahce will be without their Swiss striker Michael Frey for at least a month after the medical staff’s latest examinations have revealed he suffered a torn thigh muscle during his team’s Turkish Cup clash with Umraniyespor on Thursday.

The 24-year-old was taken off in the 28th minute of the match after falling in pain and was replaced by Nabil Dirar.

Fenerbahce went on to lose the game 1-0, 2-0 on aggregate, and crash out of the competition.
