Vagner Love leaves Besiktas

The Black Eagles have parted ways with the Brazilian striker as of Friday evening.

Vagner Love has officially ended his time with Besiktas after the two parties decided to part ways.

The Brazilian striker had complained of not having been paid his wages for the past 5 months by the Turkish club. His agent also confirmed the claims.

Love has set eyes on returning to his native homeland and has agreed to join Brazilian outfit Corinthians on a two-year deal with an annual salary of $1.2 million.

He becomes the third player to leave the club this season as the financial woes for Besiktas continue. Earlier this season, Pepe and Alvaro Negredo both left the club due to financial disputes with the club’s management.

Another player that is reported to be headed for the exit door is Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma. Coach Senol Gunes told reporters on Friday that he “does not know anything” about the player’s situation.
