Shinji Kagawa joins Besiktas on loan

The Japanese star has joined the Black Eagles on a short-term loan until the end of the season.
Borussia Dortmund’s attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa has transferred to Besiktas on loan until the end of the current season, both clubs confirmed on Thursday evening.
The Turkish club have signed the player without paying a loan fee and will have the option to make the transfer permanent for €1.5 million. Kagawa will be paid €1 million in wages by Besiktas.
The 29-year-old has found little playing time at the Bundesliga outfit this season and is looking to revive his career.
The Japan international arrived at 16:15PM local time in Istanbul on Thursday and was received by the club’s officials before making his way to the club’s facilities.
Bundesliga outfit Hannover are reported to have also had their offer for the Japan midfielder accepted by Dortmund but the player has chosen to sign for Besiktas.
