Besiktas’ offer for Al Duhail winger rejected

Edmilson Junior offer rejected

The Black Eagles have had their bid to sign winger Edmilson Junior turned down.

Besiktas have tried to sign a winger on the last day of the January transfer window but have not had any luck. The Turkish club has made an offer to sign Qatari outfit Al Duhail’s winger Edmilson Junior.

The Super Lig club made an offer to loan Edmilson for one season and were ready to pay €2.7 million for the transfer. The fee was offered in two installments, initial payment of €900,000 and a second payment of €1.8 million.

They also insisted on a €4 million future transfer fee should they decide to sign the player permanently.

However, the Arab club were only willing to loan out their player until the end of the season in exchange for a €1.5 million loan fee.

The move never materialized since both parties couldn’t find agree to terms.
