Gokhan Tore: I haven’t been paid in 9 months

Besiktas' pre-season training schedule announced

The forgotten winger claims he has not been paid for NINE months.

Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore took to his official social media account to lash out at the club over unpaid wages on Wednesday.

After news broke of Loris Karius’ complaint with FIFA against the club, Tore decided to shed light on his own issues with the club.

“I found out I was going to be excluded from the first team just two days before the end of the January transfer period. I am sharing this with you because, despite asking for a reason, I was not given any explanation. You will agree that it’s not possible to do make a transfer within two days,” he said in his messages.

The winger, who has been forced to train on his own, claims he has not received wages for the past nine months.

“I haven’t been paid for 9 months. And I repeat again, I did not do anything which can’t be unforgiven. I am convinced that this accusation against me is an attempt to create a percetion which they can hide behind.

“You say there are financial issues but you will pay me the money. And you also didn’t let me go on loan and on top of that you don’t play me,” he wrote as he expressed his frustration with the club’s management.

The 27-year-old, whose contract expires on June 30, is expected to leave the club on a free transfer.
