Stoke City’s Berahino wanted by Fenerbahce

Burundian striker Saido Berahino is wanted by the Yellow Canaries and transfer this summer could be on the cards.

Stoke City striker Saido Berahino is looking for a way out of the English club and Fenerbahce are one of the clubs keeping an eye on the player, according to his agent Fem Mathias Moriba.

The 25-year-old joined the Championship club from West Brom in January 2017 for €13.9 million but has struggled to perform. He has made just one appearance under Stoke City’s new manager Nathan Jones.

Even though he is tied to the English club until 2022, Berahino is considering terminating his deal with Stoke City in order to force a move to Fenerbahce, claims his agent.

“We have not reached an agreement with any club at the moment but we are in talks. I don’t have direct contact with Fenerbahce but they are interested in Berahino. People close to Fenerbahce have told me that,” the agent claimed.
