Trabzonspor agree terms with Nigerian midfielder john ugochukwu ogu

John Ugochukwu Ogu is on his way to the Turkish Super Lig.

Trabzonspor are reported to have reached an agreement with Nigerian international John Ugochukwu Ogu.

The 31-year-old is in the final two months of his contract with Israeli football club Hapoel Beer Sheva and is set to leave the team to join The Black Sea Storm this summer.

Ogu, capped by Nigeria 22 times, is a central midfielder who is capable of playing in attacking and defensive capabilities, an area which Trabzonspor are looking to reinforce.

Nicknamed the “Irong Eagle”, Ogu is physically strong and has superior aerial ability thanks to his height (1.92m).

After their successful signing of Anthony Nwakaeme, who transferred from Hapoel Beer Sheva at the beginning of the season, Trabzonspor are hoping to pick up another bargain transfer from Israel.
