Galatasaray sign Nigerian youngster Valentine Ozornwafor for 300K euro

The Lions have made the promising Nigerian youth their first signing of the upcoming transfer window.

Galatasaray have agreed to sign Valentine Ozornwafor from Nigerian club Enyimba Eba, sources close to the club have confirmed.

The Super Lig leaders will pay €300,000 for the 19-year-old’s transfer with whom they will ink a five-year contract.

The promising central defender has been capped 5 times for the Nigeria Under-20s and 1 time for the Nigeria Under-23s. While he is yet to earn his first cap for the senior national team, he has been called up before.

Galatasaray plan to include the youngster in their pre-season summer training camp and to loan him out in order to gain regular, first-team experience.
