Marafona, who has one international appearance for the Portuguese national team, thanked the club for their interest in him.

“I follow the Turkish league. I’ve played together with Baiano and Djalma. They told me great things about the club and the city. I know the league and the club very well. The club’s supporters can rest easy. I will do my best for the club, no one should have any doubts about that,” the Portuguese goalkeeper said in the press conference.
