Fenerbahce cautious over transfers as UEFA decision looms

The Yellow Canaries are keeping their cheque books tight as they prepare for potential sanctions from UEFA.

Fenerbahce are being cautious this month when it comes to transfers as their plans for new signings depends on the outcome of UEFA’s decision which is expected at the end of the month.

Like most Super Lig clubs, Fenerbahce are financially strapped and have failed to meet Financial Fair Play obligations which puts them at the mercy of UEFA’s officials.

The club’s management is reported to be anxiously waiting for the European football’s governing body decision before making any signings.

club president Ali Koc is scheduled to address the club’s members and community during the financial congress on Sunday June 16 at the club’s stadium, where he is expected to layout the club’s transfer plans for the summer.
