Fenerbahce sign Max Kruse from Werder Bremen

The German forward has agreed to a three-year contract with the Super Lig giants.

Fenerbahce have announced the transfer of Max Kruse from Bundesliga club Werder Bremen on Friday.

As it had been reported recently, Fenerbahce were widely expected to bring Kruse to Istanbul and as of Friday evening, they have done it.

The 31-year-old forward has agreed to don the club’s jersey for three seasons. Both, club and player, announced the transfer on social media.

Fenerbahce confirmed that Kruse was snapped up on a free transfer after his deal with Werder Bremen expired.

“Our club, as a result of negotiations with Germany international Max Kruse, whose contract with Werder Bremen ended, have reached an agreement and signed a preliminary contract. Max Kruse will come to Istanbul next week and after passing a medical check, he will sign a three-year contract with our club,” the statement released by Fenerbahce read.
