Mesut Ozil offered to Turkish clubs - turkey's biggest clubs

The Arsenal midfielder has been offered to Turkey’s biggest clubs as the English club pushes the player towards the door.

English football club Arsenal have notified some of Turkey’s biggest clubs that their midfielder Mesut Ozil is available this summer.

According to reports from Italy, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Istanbul Basaksehir have been offered the player’s services.

One major stumbling block, however, are Ozil’s stagering wages of £350,000 per week — a price tag no Turkish football club can afford.

While Ozil is known to be a Fenerbahce supporter, it’s unlikely he will be wearing the yellow-and-blue colours of the club anytime soon given their financial troubles.

The 30-year-old has previously spoken of the possibility of playing in Turkey some day but whether that was anything more than small talk remains to be seen.
