Besiktas complete Tyler Boyd transfer

The New Zealand-born USA international has joined the Black Eagles for €2.4 million.

Turkish football giants Besiktas have completed the signing of Tyler Boyd from Portugal’s Vitoria Guimaraes on Monday, the Super Lig announced on their official website.

The 24-year-old has signed a four-year contract with The Black Eagles with an annual salary of €1.2 million.

Boyd arrived in Istanbul on Monday to pass his medical and sign the contract, officially becoming a Besiktas player.

Besiktas will pay Vitoria Guimaraes €2.4 million for the player, who spent last season on loan with Super Lig minnows Ankaragucu where he impressed with his consistent performances.
