The Turkish clubs are gearing up for their European comeptition qualifers.
Turkish Super Lig clubs Trabzonspor and Istanbul Basaksehir have been paired with tough opponents in their upcoming Europa League and Champions League qualifers, respectively.
The draw held on Monday at Nyon, Switzerland paired Trabzonspor with Sparta Prague in the Third Qualifying Round of the 2019-2020 Europa League.
Istanbul Basaksehir, on the other hand, will line up against the winners of the duel between Olympiacos and Viktoria Plzen in the Third Qualifying Round of the 2019-2020 Champions League.
The first leg of the UEFA Champions League Third Qualifying Round will be played on August 6 and 7 while the second leg is scheduled for August 13.
Turkish football minnows Yeni Malatyaspor are also competing for a spot in the 2019-2020 Europa League group stages.
Yeni Malatyaspor will face Olimpia Ljubljana in Europa League’s Second Qualifying Round. Should the succeed, they will face the winner of the tie between Welsh club Connah’s Quay Nomads and Serbia’s Partizan in the Europa League Third Qualifying Round.
