Besiktas president Fikret Orman has traveled to the US to look for young talent.

Besiktas have already begun planning for the summer.

The club’s president has traveled to the United States where he has been looking for new, young talented players to sign in order to rejuvenate an aging Besiktas team.

While the current first-team is full with experienced players, the average age has been of concern for the club’s management and supporters.

The president has plans to visit South American countries Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia to scout a host of players the club have been tracking.

It has been revealed that there is an option to buy Talisca, who is currently on loan at the club, for €20 million from Benfica however the president does not wish to pay such a high figure for one player.

President Orman’s plans are to buy promising players for a low price and exporting them to a wealthier clubs. For this reason, the club have established close relations with Brazilian clubs two years ago in hopes that they can discover new talent.

The current average age of Besiktas is 29.3 years. It is believed the president wants to bring the number down to 25.
