Talisca closing in on goal record

Anderson Talisca has been on fire this season with his performances for the Black Eagles.

On Tuesday, Besiktas will be playing their most crucial game of the season thus far. The club has already set a record for advancing to the knockout stages of the Champions League as they’ve never done so before.

Brazilian hotshot Talisca could also set a new record for the club if he manages to score a goal against German powerhouse Bayern Munich. The attacking midfielder has scored five times in the club’s Champions League appearances. The only other player who’s scored as many is Everton’s new signing Cenk Tosun.

Cenk Tosun, who moved to Everton for £27 million last month, is currently tied with Talisca at five goals however as Talisca is still with the club, he could move ahead and set a new record tomorrow.

The first leg of the Besiktas-Bayern Munich duel in the Champions League’s Round-of-16 phase will take place tomorrow at Allianz Arena in Munich.
