Besiktas make Jeremain Lens move permanent

Dutch international Jeremain Lens has officially become a Besiktas player after the club decided to pay the agreed upon fee.

Besiktas have begun their player shopping early after announcing today they’ve signed Jeremain Lens on a permanent deal. The Black Eagles signed the 30-year-old from Sunderland on a loan transfer last summer.

The Turkish Super Lig champions have decided to exercise the option to make the move permanent and have paid the necessary €4 million fee. The player has signed a 5-year-deal with the club and will paid accordingly for the following seasons;

2017-2018 – €2,200,000
2018-2019 – €2,250,000
2019-2020 – €2,300,000
2020-2021 – €1,950,000
2021-2022 – €1,800,000

So far, Lens has made 19 appearances and scored 4 goals for the club this season.
