Bursaspor president: ‘Sow was a mistake’

Bursaspor president Ali Ay spoke about the current predicament the club is in during a board committee meeting today. One of the matters was Moussa Sow, who has been out injured since joining the Crocodiles.

The Crocodiles are having a terrible season so far and the Bursaspor president gave his thoughts on the team’s performances as well as their transfer dealings.

“Unfortunately, some things just aren’t happening. This team is everybody’s team. For 5-6 matches, there is negative energy. We need to stick together. When we do that we know what we can do. I’m satisfied with them as a team, but we’ve had issues playing as a team. Out of all the transfer deals this season, I think we only made a mistake with Moussa Sow. He should be in the starting eleven this week, if not next week, and hopefully he will be useful.”, explained the president.

Moussa Sow joined Bursaspor from Shabab Al-Ahli in January on a short-term loan until May 31st this year. The Senegalese striker has played just three matches since joining, all of them back in the month of January.
