Man Utd join race to sign Talisca

Manchester United have joined race to sign Anderson Talisca

Besiktas attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca is wanted by a host of clubs and English giants Manchester United have joined the race to sign the Brazilian this summer.

Anderson Talisca has plenty of clubs to choose from this summer as Manchester United are the latest to have joined the race to sign the Brazilian.

Portugese sports news outlet “A Bola” has released a report claiming Manchester United are ready to sign Talisca at the end of the season and have offered €40 million to Benfica for his signature. The offer has been approved by the Red Devils’ manager Jose Mourinho, who has been impressed by the player’s performances this season with Besiktas.

However, Besiktas have a clause in the agreement with Benfica which allows them to sign the player for €21 million before May 31 2018. With Besiktas in financial turmoil, however, it is unlikely they can come up with such a large sum for one player.

Talisca has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, while in 2014, Jose Mourinho claimed that the Brazilian would have moved to England if he could secure a work permit.

The 24-year-old is in his second, and widely expected to be his last, season with Besiktas and is one of the club’s top performers. He has scored 16 goals and made 3 assists in 36 appearances this campaign.
