Bursaspor limits transfers to €300-400K

Bursaspor's Ali Ay says the club can't afford more than 300-400K Euro

Super Lig side Bursaspor are experiencing financial hardship, like several other Turkish clubs, and the club’s president Ali Ay has made it clear to the fans.

Super Lig outfit Bursaspor’s president Ali Ay spoke with press reporters during the club’s training ahead of their upcoming fixture against Kasimpasa this weekend.

After the training sessions ended, Ali Ay said; “Kasimpasa is a very important match for us and we will go out there with the same objective as before.”

He referred to the financial difficulties the club is facing and made it clear to the public the effects the financial burden has had on the club’s transfer policies;

“We are saddened by our financial troubles, of course, but I believe will overcome them. Bursaspor will not be able to make a transfer for more than €300,000-400,000 from this point forward. There is a serious financial disturbance and everyone needs to be aware of it. From next season, they could erase points. No one should put Bursaspor in this situation and we are working on fixing it.”

Bursaspor are in 12th place with 33 points after 27 Super Lig matches and are struggling to perform this season.
