Besiktas president in Spain to meet with Guti

Besiktas president Fikret Orman is in Madrid to meet with Spanish legend Guti about a coaching position at the club.

Black Eagles president Fikret Orman is scheduled to meet with former Real Madrid legend Guti in Madrid in the coming days.

Orman is said to be keen on seeing Guti at the Besiktas dugout and will offer him the assistant manager position for next season.

The 41-year-old Spaniard is currently coaching Real Madrid’s Under-19 side and is also linked with several vacant positions including the top job at Real Madrid’s first-team.

The former midfielder played for Besiktas for two season back in 2010-2012.

Whether he will take up the offer to re-join the Super Lig side remains to be seen.
