Flamengo make unsuccessful bid for Ryan Babel

Brazilian club Flamengo have made a transfer bid for the Dutch star that was ultimately rejected by the Black Eagles.
Besiktas have received and rejected a bid of €4 million for their winger Ryan Babel from Flamengo.
Representatives of both clubs held a meeting in Istanbul and discussed the player’s availability during which the offer was presented.
The Super Lig powerhouse are reported to value the Dutch player at €8 million and will not consider bids of lesser value.
With the recent departure of goalkeeper Boyko, Besiktas are looking to off-load strikers Alvaro Negredo and Vagner Love, who are both two of the highest wage earners at the club.
Another Besiktas player who has been on the Brazilian outfit’s radar is full-back Adriano, who was recently spotted in a football jersey store selling official gear of the Brazilian club.
Adriano spotted in a Flamengo gear shop.
