Ryan Babel rejects Flamengo offer

The Dutch star has decided to remain in Istanbul despite Flamengo’s interest.

Besiktas star Ryan Babel will remain with the club for the time being. Brazilian outfit Flamengo made a transfer bid of €7 million for the player, which was accepted by the Black Eagles, however the Dutch international has declined their offer.

Babel’s manager Winnie Haatrecht confirmed the news to Dutch press.

“There have been continuing talks between Besiktas and Flamengo but Babel does not want to go,” he was quoted as saying.

The 31-year-old is enjoying himself at the Turkish club and has no intentions of leaving. He has been seeing regularly posting on his social media accounts regarding the transfer speculation surrounding him.
