Konyaspor sell Bourabia to Sassuolo for €2.25m

The Moroccan defender has left the Super Lig for Italian football.

Konyaspor have sold central midfielder Mehdi Bourabia to Serie A outfit Sassuolo for €2,250,000, the club announced via a statement on their website today.

The club thanked Mehdi for his service and wished him well at his new club.

“As a result of negotiations, we’ve parted ways with our player. Medhi Bourabia has been transferred to Sassuolo for €2,250,000. We thank Mehdi for his service at Konyaspor and wish him success in the next stage of his career.”

The 26-year-old had joined Konyaspor in July 2017 from Bulgarian club Levski Sofia for €500,000.
