Atiba Hutchinson dismisses rumours regarding future

The Canadian star was reported to have turned down Besiktas’ latest contract offer and agreed to join rivals Galatasaray by media outlets in Turkey.
Besiktas and Atiba Hutchinson were reported to have parted ways after the Canadian midfielder allegedly turned down their latest contract offer and agreeing to join rivals Galatasaray. However, the player took to social media to dispel the claims.
The Black Eagles were reported to have offered a one-year contract with an annual salary of €650,000 and a bonus of €5,000 for every point the team wins.
Less than a few hours after the reports emerged, the 35-year-old posted the following image on his Instagram page;

The player’s future, however, remains uncertain as he is yet to sign a new deal with Besiktas.
Atiba has been one of the most consistent players at Besiktas for the last five years, having played a significant role in the club’s last two campaigns.
