Besiktas to face B36 Torshavn in Europa League

The Black Eagles will line-up against the Faroese semi-professional club in their quest to qualify for the Europa League group stages.

Besiktas will play against B36 Torshavn in the Second Qualifying round of the 2018/2019 Europa League.

The small Faroe Islands club defeated their opponents Titograd Podgorica 2-1 last night in the First Qualifying round to advance to the next round.

The Black Eagles will travel to the Faroe Islands on July 26th to play their opponents in the first leg of the tie. The second leg will be played in Vodafone Park on August 2nd.

This isn’t the first time B36 Torshavn will meet a Turkish club. In the 2006/2007 qualifying stages, they played against Fenerbahce in the second qualifying round, losing 5-0 at home and 4-0 away.
