Bursaspor terminate Sercan Yildirim's contract

The Green Crocodiles have released the injury-plagued striker.

Bursaspor have parted ways with Turkish striker Sercan Yildirim.

The Super Lig club have decided to terminate the 28-year-old’s contract with immediate effect and is now a free agent.

Yildirim had a horrible time last season, after being sidelined for the entirety of the season and not featuring in a single game.

The Bursa-born player rose through the ranks of the club’s youth academy and made headlines during his time with Bursaspor between 2007 and 2011 before being sold to Galatasaray for €3 million in the summer of 2011.

However, his career took a nose dive after constant injuries plagued the Turkish forward. He has bounced around from club to club each year before re-joining Bursaspor in 2016 but has been a shadow of his past.
