Malatyaspor sign Mitchell Donald

Red Star's Mitchell Donald joins Malatyaspor

The Super Lig club have completed the signing of the midfielder from Red Star Belgrade.

Mitchell Donald has joined Malatyaspor on a free transfer from Serbian outfit Red Star Belgrade.

The transfer was announced on the Super Lig club’s Twitter account.

Mitchell has penned a two-year contract with his new club.

The Dutch midfielder began his career in his native homeland with Ajax, where he rose through the ranks. He joined the Serbian club in January 2016 and has been a fan favorite due to his consistent performances.

Malatyaspor president Adil Gevrek welcomed the player after announcing the transfer to the public.

“After today’s final round of talks, we’ve signed a contract with Mitchell Donald. Welcome!”

Last season, he scored 7 goals in 37 appearances for Red Star.
