FC Porto reject Besiktas bid for Vincent Aboubakar

The Black Eagles have seen a loan bid turned down by the Portuguese club.

Besiktas are fond of striker Vincent Aboubakar and have made an attempt to bring him back to Istanbul for another season. However, his club, FC Porto, have rejected the offer put forth by the Turkish club.

The 26-year-old is also wanted by La Liga outfit Sevilla, who are said to be the front runners in the race to sign him.

Porto’s management have confirmed the news by addressing the bid.

“Sevilla’s offer to purchase was low while Besiktas’ loan offer wasn’t adequate. The team that wants to get Aboubakar has to increase their offer.”
