Torino’s Adem Ljajic completes loan move to Besiktas

Adem Ljajic joins Besiktas on loan

The Black Eagles revealed their latest signing today; Serbian star Adem Ljajic.

Besiktas have completed their anticipated signing on the final day of the transfer window. The Turkish club have added Serbian midfielder Adem Ljajic to their squad for the 2018/2019 season.

The attacking midfielder joins from Italian club Torino, who play their football in Italy’s top flight, the Serie A. The loan fee is reported to be €1,250,000.

He has joined the Super Lig giants on a one-year loan although the Turkish club have the option to make the move permanent for €6,250,000. The initial price was said to be €10 million, set by Torino’s president Cairo, but after some hard bargaining, the two sides managed to agree on the lower figure.

The 27-year-old has played for some of Italy’s biggest clubs, including Fiorentina, Roma and Inter. Last season, he scored 6 goals in 27 appearances for Torino.
