Konyaspor to miss Hurtado for 6 weeks

The Anatolian Eagle will be without Peruvian international Hurtado for almost 2 months.

Peru international Paolo Hurtado picked up an unfortunate injury during his nation’s friendly against the USA on Tuesday October 16.

The 28-year-old suffered a blow to his right knee which injured his knee joint and caused a partial tear of his medial collateral ligament.

Tests done by Konyaspor have assessed the player’s condition and club doctor Galip Bilen Kurklu has ruled him out for at least 6 weeks.

The attacking midfielder is a new signing at Konyaspor, having joined the Turkish club from Portugese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes in August 2018 for €1.5 million.
