Fenerbahce searching for new manager

Fenerbahce new manager search continues

The Yellow Canaries are hoping to find their new manager in a very crucial time of the season.

Fenerbahce, currently without a manager, are searching high and low for their next coach.

Assistant manager Erwin Koeman has been given the role until the club’s administration find a suitable coach. Koeman is currently running training sessions and will lead the team into their heated battle against arch-rivals Galatasaray this upcoming Friday.

The Super Lig club are reported to have approached multiple experienced coaches including the recently unemployed Leonardo Jardim, who has been without a club since parting ways with AS Monaco last month.

The club’s director of football, Damien Comolli is using his connections and influence in the world of football to find the right person for the difficult task of steering Fenerbahce back to the top of the Super Lig.

Another name linked with the club is French coach Laurent Blanc but the Frenchman is reported to not be very interested in the Turkish club’s proposal.

Brazilian outfit Gremio’s manager, Renato Gaucho, has also been made an offer to take over the reins at Fenerbahce.

The 56-year-old has been successful during the two years he has spent with the club and Ali Koc has taken notice, according to reports.
