Fatih Terim banned for 3 more games

The Emperor has been suspended for another 3 games for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has been handed another three-game ban by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The Turkish coach is already facing a 7 game ban for insulting the referees and his involvement in the melee that broke out during his team’s derby against arch rivals Fenerbahce earlier this month.

The TFF made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon and made it clear the coach is not to be allowed in the locker room during his suspension. He has also been fined 14,000 Turkish Lira (TL) (approximately €2,250).

Terim missed his team’s Super Lig clash against Kayserispor this past Saturday, leaving him with 9 games left to serve.

Galatasaray club president Mustafa Cengiz was given a 90-day suspension from football activities and fined 40,000 TL (approximately €6,450) for his outbursts and insults while talking to the media regarding the matter.

The club have also been fined 135,000 TL (approximately €21,700) for the statements made on their official website.
