Euro 2020: Turkey drawn in Group H

The Crescent Stars will face France, Iceland, Albania, Moldova and Andorra in Group H of the qualifying campaign.

The UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying draw was held at the Convention Centre in Dublin, Ireland today.

All 55 participating nations were drawn into 10 groups.

Turkey were paired with World Cup winners France, as well as Iceland, Albania, Moldova and Andorra in Group H of the qualifying stages.

The qualifiers are set to begin in March 2019. The winner and runner-up of each group will automatically qualify for the UEFA European Championship 2020.

In total, twenty teams will qualify from the qualifying rounds and four will qualify from the new UEFA Nations League playoffs in March 2020.

GROUP A: England, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kosovo

GROUP B: Portugal, Ukraine, Serbia, Lithuania, Luxembourg

GROUP C: Netherlands, Germany, Northern Ireland, Estonia, Belarus

GROUP D: Switzerland, Denmark, Republic of Ireland, Georgia, Gibraltar

GROUP E: Croatia, Wales, Slovakia, Hungary, Azerbaijan

GROUP F: Spain, Sweden, Norway, Romania, Faroe Islands, Malta

GROUP G: Poland, Austria, Israel, Slovenia, FYR Macedonia, Latvia

GROUP H: France, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Moldova, Andorra

GROUP I: Belgium, Russia, Scotland, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, San Marino
