Fenerbahce defender Diego Reyes loaned to Leganes

The Mexican international has left Istanbul for Spain where he is hoping to find regular playing time.

Fenerbahce have loaned out their central defender Diego Reyes to La Liga outfit Leganes, the Turkish club confirmed on their official website on Monday evening.

The 28-year-old has joined the Spanish club until the end of the season.

Reyes signed for Fenerbahce from FC Porto at the beginning of the season on a free transfer but has found little playing time with the Yellow Canaries, making 8 league appearances, many of them as a substitute.

Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal spoke to reporters ahead of their Super Lig clash with Malatyaspor on Monday and revealed another name that could leave the club is on-loan striker Islam Slimani who has met with a number of clubs.
