Caleb Ekuban wants Trabzonspor stay

The Ghana forward is hoping to remain in Turkey beyond his current loan deal.

In his interview with Trabzonspor media, Caleb Ekuban revealed his intention to remain with the Turkish club beyond the expiration of his loan deal.

The 24-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with The Black Sea Storm. He joined the club from Leeds United at the beginning of the season, in August 2018.

However, Ekuban is hoping to extend his stay.

“If Trabzonspor calls me to have to discuss staying, it would make me very happy. Because I am very happy in Trabzon and I feel good playing for this team. If my club is happy with me, I want to stay,” he said.

The Italy-born forward has been ever-present for Trabzonspor this season, having made 16 league appearances during which he scored 4 goals and made 1 assist.
