Dutch club terminate Besiktas winger loan early

The Armenian international has been sent back to Besiktas after Willem II terminated his deal.

Armenian midfielder Aras Ozbiliz has returned to Besiktas prematurely after Willem II terminated his loan on Thursday.

The 29-year-old joined the Eredivise club on a season-long loan in August 2018 from Besiktas but his loan has been cut short after he refused to come on as a substitute during Willem II’s league game against Fortuna Sittard earlier this week.

Prior to leaving the club, Ozbiliz made 18 appearances for the Dutch outfit during which he scored 2 goals and contributed 2 assists.

He took to his Instagram page to address the situation, claiming he wasn’t ready to play after returning from a two-week injury period.
