Ricardo Quaresma to join FC Porto

The Portuguese winger is set to leave Besiktas at the end of the season.

Veteran winger Ricardo Quaresma has agreed to join FC Porto once his contract with Besiktas expires at the end of the season, according to reports.

The 35-year-old, who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, is reported to have agreed to a one-year deal with the Portuguese giants at the end of which he plans to call time on his professional career.

The Portuguese international has already began preparing for life away from Istanbul, including not renewing the lease agreement for the home he is staying at in the Acarkent neighbourhood of Istanbul.

He was close to leaving The Black Eagles in the January transfer window but was reportedly convinced by Senol Gunes to remain until the end of the season.
