Besiktas make offer to loan Andre Schurrle

The Black Eagles want to bring the German midfielder to Vodafone Park.

Besiktas have made an offer to loan Borussia Dortmund’s midfielder Andre Schurrle for one season.

The Istanbul club, now being being coached by recently appointed Abdullah Avci, have contacted the Bundesliga powerhouse and have tabled a proposal for the player’s services.

After failing to convince Shinji Kagawa, also a Borussia Dortmund midfielder, to join Besiktas on a permanent deal, the club’s administration have set their sights on Schurrle as they look to bring in an attacking midfielder.

The German international spent this past season on loan with Fulham FC, who were relegated from the English top flight.
