Besiktas sign Victor Ruiz from Villareal

The Black Eagles have added defender Victor Ruiz on a three-year deal.

Besiktas have struck a deal with La Liga outfit Villareal for the transfer of Victor Ruiz.

The 30-year-old central defender arrived in Istanbul on Tuesday evening at the city’s Sabiha Gokcen airport after flying in from Barcelona.

Ruiz was met by a small group of Besiktas fans who followed him as he made his way through the airport.

The Spanish defender has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Turkish club.

He made 33 appearances for Villareal last season.
