Besiktas loan Abdoulay Diaby from Sporting CP

The Black Eagles have loaned Mali winger Abdoulay Diaby from Portugal’s sporting CP for a season.

Besiktas have announced the signing of Abdoulay Diaby from Sporting CP on Monday evening.

The Mali winger arrived in Istanbul on Monday and passed a medical after which he finalized his contract with the Turkish football club.

Diaby has been brought in as a replacement for the recently departed veteran winger Ricardo Quaresma, who has now joined city rivals Kasimpasa after falling out with the club’s president Fikret Orman.
