Titi: I believe Le Guen can make us champions

Bursaspor’s central defender Titi gave his backing to under-pressure manager Paul Le Guen. The 29-year-old shared opinion on the matter with the club’s magazine.
Bursaspor’s experienced defender was interviewed by the club’s magazine and asked his opinion on a number of issues including manager Le Guen, who is fighting for his job as each week passes.
“I came to Bursaspor because I wanted to take my career to a higher level and also to play in a stadium which is always full. I also came for the fans. It’s a great feeling. There is always a full stadium. When you think of the power of a club, you think the owners, the players but the real owners are always the supporters. And for this reason, I think Bursaspor is different. You can see the whole city breathes football.”, he explained about his decision to sign for the club.
“One of the reasons that brought me to the club was the fact that I would be working with him. He is well-known. And he’s always been successful in his career. I think he will be successful here also. I believe he can win things, he can make the club champions. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and I learn new things by working with him every day.”
“Small setbacks happen in every team because you have to play very often and you have a lot of injuries at the same time. But against Besiktas, we got our confidence back. Even though we didn’t get the result we wanted, our fans applauded us for trying. And this also adds to our confidence overall.”
Titi, who’s real name is Cristian Chagas Tarouco, has been the club’s most relied upon player this campaign, with more Super Lig and Turkish Cup appearances than the rest of his teammates.
