Pablo Batalla is leaving Bursaspor after 9 years with the club.

Buraspor’s Argentinian playmaker Pablo Martin Batalla is set to make his final appearance in Bursa tomorrow when the Crocodiles take on Trabzonspor.

Batalla said he will return to his country after so many years abroad. He signed for Bursaspor in the summer of 2009 and has gone on to make 248 official matches for his club and scored many memorable goals.

His most memorable were the 26 goals he scored during the 2009/2010 season when Bursaspor won the Turkish Super Lig for the first time in history and became the fifth club in Turkey to be crowned Super Lig champions.

The 34-year-old, a fan favourite and adored by Bursaspor fans, announced he would leave the team at the end of the current season and play football in Argentina for one more year before hanging up his cleats.

Bursaspor and the fans have organized a farewell send-off for their talisman which will take place tomorrow before kick-off.
