Dutch midfielder Mitchell Donald agrees to join Malatyaspor

Red Star's Mitchell Donald joins Malatyaspor

Red Star Belgrade midfielder Mitchell Donald has agreed in principle to join the Super Lig club.

Malatyaspor have agreed on terms with Dutch midfielder Mitchell Donald, who is a free agent after his contract with Serbian outfit Red Star Belgrade expired.

The Turkish club invited the player to Istanbul where he would meet the club’s management and put pen to paper on a three-year contract.

The 29-year-old is expected to be officially revealed in the coming days by his new club.

Mitchell has played for clubs such as Roda JC, AFC Ajax and Willem II before leaving his native Netherlands to try his luck in Serbia.
