Bursaspor to meet with Montepellier’s Giovanni Sio

The Super Lig club’s manager revealed they plan to hold talks with Giovanni Sio this week.

The Green Crocodiles are hoping to make Giovanni Sio their latest signing. The Super Lig club’s manager Samet Aybaba told reporters they will be meeting with Ligue 1 side Montpellier for their striker.

The 29-year-old, an Ivory Coast international, is reported to be traveling to Bursa this week to take a tour of the club’s facilities and discuss contract terms.

The French club are said to be willing to let go of the striker, considering him surplus to first team requirements.

Giovanni is a quick forward who is also capable of playing on both wings.

Sio lists, in addition to Montpellier, Stade Rennais, FC Basel, VfL Wolfsburg and FC Augsburg as some of his former clubs.
