Pepe could be on his way to the Premier League

The Portuguese defender has suitors from England and Portugal.

Besiktas’ central defender Pepe has attracted interest from his former club FC Porto and English Premier League newcomers Wolves Wolverhampton.

Wolves, who have seven Portuguese players among their first team, are said to be very interested in the former Real Madrid star.

Besiktas have slapped a €7 million price-tag on their man, however, who has just one year left on his contract. They could be forced into a sale sooner rather than later as they need to bolster their squad with fresher legs for the upcoming Super Lig.

One issue that could prove to be a deal breaker is the player’s wages, currently earning €4.7 million per season with the Black Eagles.

Senol Gunes, the club’s boss, is not keen on letting go of their star player, however.
