Seydou Doumbia rejects Bursaspor contract offer

The Ivory Coast star has had a change of heart in the last minute of the deal.

Bursaspor were claimed to be on the verge of signing Seydou Doumbia from Portugues club Sporting CP but the move has fallen through in the last minute.

The two clubs had agreed on a €1 million transfer fee, however, the 30-year-old has gone back on his word after initially being open to the move.

His wage demands are reported at being €2.5 million per year.

The Ivory Coast international is now looking to either remain with the Portuguese side or move to a bigger team, according to reports.
