Bursaspor sign Santiago Vergini on a free transfer

The Green Crocodiles have snapped up Argentinian defender Vergini on a free transfer.
Bursaspor have announced the signing of Santiago Vergini on their social media and official website today.
The 30-year-old defender passed through the mandatory medical exam at Acibadem International Hospital in Bursa, which consisted of checks for illnesses affecting the internal organs, ears, nose, throat, heart, joints and several other areas.

The Argentinian international put pen to paper on a three-year-deal (2+1) with his new club.
Bursaspor clarified they did not pay a transfer fee for their latest signing.
Santiago brings a wealth of experience with him, having played for clubs such as Sunderland, Getafe and Boca Juniors.
