Tolga Cigerci out for 21 days with injury

The Turkish midfielder is sidelined with a toe injury.

One of Fenerbahce’s newest signings, Tolga Cigerci, has been ruled out for 21 days with a toe injury.

The 26-year-old midfielder traveled to Germany to seek the care of Bayern Munich’s doctor.

After consulting with the team’s physician, he has been told he will need to take 21 days off to recover from his injury.

He is expected to return to Istanbul in the beginning of October and begin training with the team then. He is yet to make his debut for his new club.

Tolga signed for the Yellow Canaries from arch-rivals Galatasaray after he was released by the Lions earlier in the summer.
