Bursaspor want to extend Diafra Sakho loan

The Green Crocodiles want to keep the Senegal international for another season.

Bursaspor are reported to be keen on keeping hold of Diafra Sakho after being impressed with his performances.

The 29-year-old forward is currently on loan from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais FC, having joined Bursaspor on a a season-long loan in August 2018.

The quick forward has scored twice in his 6 appearances for the Turkish club so far. His tally would have been higher if it wasn’t for the three goals that were cancelled by VAR, which is being used for the first time in the Super Lig this season.

According to reports in Turkey, Bursaspor’s management will hold talks with Rennes to extend the player’s loan for one more season.

Sakho’s loan expires at the end of the current campaign.
